      After 11 years of Service Pam has decided it is time to hang up the shackles of working life and concentrate on her family and other interests. We wish Pam all the best for the future and we thank her for her contribution to the Organisation. I am sure past Presidents in Mike Curtis, Bill Fawcett, June Milton, myself and our current President Bob Welldon and all who have worked with Pam will certainly attest to the efforts and late nights during Qualcons. We are seeking a part time replacement.

      If you read the last AOQ(SA) Magazine ‘The South Western’ you will be aware AOQ(SA) has become a member of BPIR. BPIR will be included as part of the AOQ(SA) Members fees commencing FY2010/11. We have recently reviewed the list of members and their email addresses that were sent to the BPIR to setup your logins. AOQ(SA) is  reviewing the list against our Members Register over the coming fortnight.       If you are not already aware, AOQ(SA) has launched a new look website which has seen a lot of the older items cleared but not deleted. One of the special options is the ‘Members only’ area which is accessed via ‘Members Home’. You will need a password which will be changed annually when you renew your membership.      Council has proposed a ‘Members only’ evening programme for Members from June to December 2010. The proposed sessions may be found on the AOQ(SA) website http://www.aoq.asn.au/ in the ‘Members Home’ section by clicking on the ‘Events’ tab. For these to run successfully and be worthwhile for the speaker, members and AOQ(SA), we need to confirm your interest in the proposal. If you have any constructive input or wish to register your interest please email on membersevents_at_aoq.asn.au or call me on. The cost of each event will be $11.00 GST inc and include finger food and beverages.

Some time ago Council approved and promoted a framework by which members who introduce new members of a equal or higher level to AOQ(SA) will receive a reduction in their subsequent annual membership fee. To find out more about this offer, just go to the AOQ(SA) website http://www.aoq.asn.au/ via ‘Members Home’ and click on ‘Members offers’. Please ensure any new members you introduce put your name in the ‘referred by’ section of their membership application form.

AOQ(SA) has engaged Adelaide Expo Hire to support AOQ(SA) in the setup and delivery of the exhibition at Qualcon 2011 which will be held 16-20 October 2011.

 

 

Qualcon 2011 Host Venue announced posted 21/6/2010

AOQ(SA) has engaged The Intercontinental (formally The Hyatt) to be the host venue for the event in October 2011. Qualcon 2011 will be held 16-20 October 2011.
